* ping me if you get The Outsiders reference. * I read a lot and there will be the occasional random pop culture or lit reference to keep up with
I believe great ideas can come from anywhere. I'm always learning, reading, listening and looking for ways to improve and discover how the "best of the best" do things.
My objective is to be a mentor, advisor, and coach by sharing my experience and expertise, but also to be a conduit or matchmaker, connecting you with other great ideas, resources and more. I also value authenticity.
A few writers and people I like and respect include James Altucher, Mark Manson, Jen Sincero, Steven Pressfield, Lewis Howes, Jon Acuff, Liz Gilbert, Mel Robbins, Ramit Sethi, Andy Frisella, and Grant Cardone to name a few.
Those are the rabbits I chase, professionals I learn from, try to emulate and the standard I try to meet.
I'm not saying I'm in the same league...yet, but if you like them, their style and approach… you might like me. You be the judge.
Why do I like and respect those people? They are straight up, no bullshit communicators who are not afraid to share the good, the bad and the ugly about themselves and their opinions with brutal honesty. They are confident in what they know and own it 100%. They also aren't shy about seeking answers for what they don't know.
They aren’t afraid to put themselves out there and as a result, they're relatable, genuine, believable and in my book even MORE credible because they've lived it.
They use their unique voice and experience in life and business to share their expertise and individual slant on a wide variety of topics. They also aren't afraid to learn and to share great ideas or content wherever they discover it.
That's what I TRY to give you. I'm a work in progress... but hey, aren't we all.
You may like some things or feel that an idea or some of the content really resonates and connects with you, and others may not apply to you. That's ok. Take the best and leave the rest. (It's like the giant menu at the Cheesecake Factory, you might not like everything, but you're bound to find something you like)
Let me hear from you and tell me what you like, want to learn and need more of.
